This OST was made with a few pals and my favorite developer buddy, Vykri (vykri.itch.io) for the Juice Jam II game jam from Jan 27th to Feb 5th (itch.io/jam/gdb-juice-jam-ii). We ended up making a typing rhythm game with dark neo-tokyo aesthetics and placed 57th out of 205. If you want to play the game, we have a link for you (vykri.itch.io/downbeat) in either browser or Windows download. Make sure you have a QWERTY keyboard since that was the number one gripe with the game besides challenge.
This was one of the first times I had a hack at just producing music rather than composing from scratch, using a lot of different EDM libraries to get those iconic synths and beats. We also got a reggaeton base track from Jela's demo library (soundcloud.com/jela-959083691) with his permission and beefed up the track with a bunch of layers and extra production. It was a lot of fun experiementing with these genres. After the jam, since the time crunch was mad to get this done, I mixed and mastered the tracks to post them legitimately here and on other platforms.
